    No Peeking Invitation

Every year I let my daughter invite some friends over to decorate cookies and do some crafting.  This is the invitation that we made for this year. Isn't it so stinkin cute. This stamp set is perfect for children, I may just let them make a card using this stamp set. It's hard to see in the picture but I tore Whisper White cardstock to make the hills and used Iridescent Ice embossing powder on the torn part. I also colored a small pearl with a red Sharpie marker for Rudolph's red nose.

    Recipe:

Stamp Sets:  No Peeking (w 126290 c 126292), Inviting (Retired)

Ink: Chocolate Chip  Classic Stampin' Pad #126979, Basic Black Classic Stampin' Pad #126980, Real Red Classic Stampin' Pad #126949, Old Olive Classic Stampin' Pad #126953, Pumpkin Pie Stampin Write Marker #105115

    Ornament Class

With the overwhelming response to the Ornament on the cover of the Holiday Mini I decided to hold a class. The class was Nov 1 and we made 3 different Ornaments and 1 quick card.

     Supplies for the Large Ornament:

    Stamp Set:
128048 (wood) 128051 (clear) Ornament Keepsakes

    Paper:
    101650 Very Vanilla
126901 Candlelight Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper

    Ink:
    126861 Gumball Green
    126966 Cherry Cobbler

    Accessories:
    127816 Holiday Ornament Framelits
    127555 Vintage Faceted Designer Buttons
    125577 Large Pearl Basic Jewels
127841 3-1/2" Scalloped Tulle Ribbon in Cherry Cobbler
    104199 Linen Thread

    Other:
    Glue Gun
    Hemp (for hanger)

I also stamped "Heart Of Christmas" (#128129)  and cut with Label Framelits for the back.

    Supplies for the Smaller Ornament:

    Stamp Set:
128030 (wood) 128033 (clear) Greetings of the Season

    Paper:
    101650 Very Vanilla
126901 Candlelight Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper
    127885 Glimmer Paper in Champagne

    Ink:
    126949 Real Red

    Accessories:
    127816 Holiday Ornament Framelits
    127813 Snow Flurry Bigz Die

I also stamped "Heart Of Christmas" (#128129) and cut with Label Framelits for the back.
For the smallest ornament I purchased a porcelain ornament at a Big Box store,

I then inked up the Tree from "Christmas Lodge" ( #123767 w; 123769 c) with Versamark and stamped on ornament. Don't forget to use your Embossing Buddy (#103083) first. Then I sprinkled with Gumball Green Embossing Powder (#128981). It will take awhile for the powder to melt, my tip is to lay it on a towel while heating as it will get very hot. I used Dazzling Details in Cherry Cobbler (#125585) for adding berries and it dried very nicely.

    Hallowe'en Class Treats

    Ghoulish Googlies Designer Kit

I just finished these ADORABLE treats for my son's pre-school class. I love how Stampin' Up! made this economical  kit.

This is the card that I made to put inside the bags so that his friends know who gave them this awesome treat bag. I popped up the spiders and Frankenstein with Dimensionals.

I ran the glassine bags thru the Big Shot in the Spiderweb Embossing Folder before filling with treats. I used the Decorative Label Punch and Pumpkin Pie to add a little color to the printed tags. I also used a couple Dimensionals to attach the tag to the bag.

    Project Recipe
Stamp Set: Googly Ghouls, Seasonal Sayings
Paper: Pumpkin Pie, Basic Grey, Basic Black, Howlstooth & Scaringbone DSP
    Ink: Black Stazon

    Regional Swaps 2

As promised here are some of the swaps that I received from fellow Demos at the Hamilton Regionals:

This beautiful card was done by Stephanie VanDorp. Click here to go to her blog.
What I love about this card: The colors look great together and the silver embossing makes it look so elegant. The polka dot embossing is so subtle put perfect.

Unfortunately there was no name on the back of this card. If anyone knows the creator do not hesitate to leave me a comment and let me know. What I love about this card: I love the scallop square shape. The different textures circles are just fabulous especialy being made from the new Core'dinations card stock in the new Holiday Mini. The mittens are so stinkin cute and the matching punch makes it a breeze to cut out.

Again this card didn't have a name. What I love about this card: the monochromatic colour. You could so easily change the sentiment and turn it into a masculine card.

    Regional Swaps

As promised here are my swaps that I made to exchange with fellow demos. I actually made 4 different cards:

I didn't want to get bored stamping the same card (I made over 30 cards) so I used different colors and stamps. I just fell in love with this technique (Seamless Tier / Triple Stamping) a couple months ago. The Black & White card is my absolute favorite, it turned out great.

     Supplies Used:

    Black & White Card:

    Cardstock: Basic Black, Whisper White
Stamp Set: Papaya Collage, Friendly Phrases
    Ink: Basic Black, Sahara Sand
Embellishments:Basic Black 1/8 Taffeta Ribbon, Dazzling Diamonds Glitter

    Red & White Card:

    Cardstock: Real Red, Whisper White
    Ink: Real Red, Old Olive
Stamp Sets: Papaya Collage, Friendly Phrases
    Embellishments: Dazzling Diamonds Glitter

    Turquoise Card:

    Cardstock: Tempting Turquoise, Very Vanilla
    Ink: Tempting Turquoise, Old Olive
Stamp Sets: Creative Elements, Friendly Phrases
    Embellishments: Dazzling Diamonds Glitter

    Coral Card:

    Cardstock: Calyso Coral, Very Vanilla
    Ink: Calypso Coral, Old Olive
Stamp Sets: Creative Elements, Friendly Phrases
    Embellishments: Dazzling Diamonds Glitter

Watch for tomorrows post where I will showcase some cards that I received from fellow demonstrators.

    Hamilton Regionals

I LOVE this company!! Last Saturday Shelli and the gang came all the way from Utah to spend the day with us.  This was my first Stampin' Up! event and I was not disappointed. All the presentations from the Home Office Staff and other Top Demonstrators were awesome. Shelli demonstrated this awesome tag that I just have to teach at an upcoming class (visit my website for class dates):

Isn't this just gorgeous!! Here are some pictures of some of the displays that they had for us.

It was such and awesome and inspiring day and I met some great people. This is just ONE of the perks of being a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator. If you would like some info on joining my team, feel free to email me today. I love making new friends.

Watch for tomorrow's post as I will showcase my swap that I made and some swaps that I received.

    Happy Crafting!!
